Regardless of my stats, what are some good/well-known schools for the journalism and/or film majors? I know of NYU and USC, but are there any others I should be looking at? Is U. of Mich a choice for either of these majors?

university of oregon actually has a pretty good journalism department.

DePaul university, as well.

Willamette in oregon has a good writing program, which could then lead into journalism.

Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse is really well known...It has one of the best communication programs in the country.
I think Boston University is pretty good.
I heard UMich's program is strong too but I'm not sure.

Also look at Emerson in Boston and Ithaca College in NY.
