I am an international student with a law degree from UK. How easy/difficult is it for me to get into Columbia School of General Studies for a second bachelors? What do they look for in an applicant? Any comments very much appreciated!!!

Columbia GS is probably the easiest Ivy to get into. You have a 50% chance of getting in, without having to do SATs or any other tests. About 20% of Columbia's undergrad is made up of GSers, so you'll have tons of company.
I don't know what they look for in an applicant specifially, but they're not out to get you...they look for reasons to let you in.

Madenlinemay11, you seem to know a lot about GS. I have taken recently taken the ACT, but my score was not competitive (26). I plan to retest. I'm in the US Navy now, and have been out of high school for 4 years. I finished with a 3.75 GPA, and a ranking of 6 of 319. What do you think my chances are of getting into GS? It would be a dream for me to get in, but I want to be realistic. Are you enrolled there, or know someone else who is?
