I'm looking to go back east for school, and the only safety on my list is Vermont. What are some other good safties that I should consider (1440, 3.88, haven't taken SAT IIs yet). My list is comprised of: Princeton (yeah right), Dartmouth, NYU, Georgetown, Brown (legacy), Boston U, and Vermont.

don't know what your interests are, but:

James Madison

Near safeties? --Syracuse, GWU/American, Rutgers, Penn State...

more about what you are seeking would be helpful.

How about Maryland - honors program has good rep.

I'm looking to go into something business/finance related (NYU-Stern is my 2nd choice behind Princeton). Anywhere Back East is good, as long as it's not in Pennsylvania.

I remember going to Gettysburgh and checking out the battlefield. The town was really nice, so I may put GU on my "safety list". Thanks for the suggestion.

Holy Cross, Colby and Bates. These schools like to recruit outside their geographic area.

How about Babson? Great school if you're sure you want to do business. Gettysburg would be another choice. Also possibly LEhigh or Muhlenberg.
