Listen if you're listing Florida options, you should check out Eckerd for their marine biology and also UM...if you want public then FAU for Marine Bio...USF is better than UWF though

U of Miami has the premiere marine biology program in florida and one of the tops in the nation unless i am mistaken

UCSB has an undergrade major in marine biology. UCSD only has grad school. You can't get close to the ocean than ucsb.

In case you change your mind about the east coast, two fine west coast schools for marine biology undergrad are UC Santa Cruz and Cal. State - Monterey Bay.
