Anyone have any recomendations for universities that specialize in photography and english? ~Pursuing a career in photojournalism.

Definitely UCLA. They have great programs in English, photography, art, cinema, and other non-math and science course.
Not to say they aren't good in the math and science fields, but I think it is the other programs that set them apart.

University of Western Kentucky has one of the country's strongest photojournalism programs. They usually clean up on student photojournalism contests. That may be the only program that university is nationally noted for.
