My son has taken the Chinese bus from Baltimore to NYC plenty of times. What a deal! In Baltimore you have Hopkins, Loyola, Goucher, UMBC. Washington has Georgetown, UMCP, GW, American, and Catholic. Philly has plenty of places (in addition to those pointed out above, you've got Swarthmore, Haverford, and - for women - Bryn Mawr).

Boston has a ton of schools, and I've taken the Chinatown Bus and it's no big deal and really cheap.
Anyway since you didn't list any stats or anything here is a wide range of schools around Boston: Harvard, MIT, Tufts, Wellesley, BC, Northeastern, Suffolk, Brandeis, Stonehill, Wheaton
and there are tons more...
Not that I think the Chinatown bus thing is necessarily fair, but at least the cities provide you with a great range of school options.

At the risk of dredging up a subject that has been overworked in the past week, I would point out that Boston also has a great business college in Babson.
Oh yeah; forgot another one in Baltimore: Towson University. A nice school, and relatively easy to get into. They're hosting the "World Guitar Congress" this week. Cool!

If it goes to Albany, look at Rensselaer Poly (RPI) in Troy, NY. Lally school of managment is very good if you are a "tech" type.
