Why is it that some colleges send me a whole bunch of stuff and others don't? Am I more likely to get more scholarships from the colleges that send me more info? Just wondering.

Not sure what stuff you are referring to. Is the stuff solicited or unsolicited? Are these colleges you have applied to? Colleges from which you have requested information? Or are they sending you stuff out of the blue?

The reason is simple: some colleges have bigger marketing budgets than others. There is usually little correlation between the amount of materials you receive from any particular school and your chances of being accepted at that school or receiving substantial financial aid.
