What's Berkeley?
| By Rtkysg (Rtkysg) on Tuesday, June 01, 2004 - 11:21 pm: Edit |
I would choose Berkeley, those UK colleges 'era' is fading, Berkeley grads school beat imperial anytime, and I think for undergrads, it's abt equal. You must notice though, UK education system is very rigid, no much flexibility ...

Probably at Stanford.

Hey. I'm from England so my opinion is probably quite biased! Imperial is a great uni, the best in England after Oxbridge and probably on par with LSE. It's very research focused as a uni, and is generally a great place!

Hmm, I think they both equally good. I think it comes down to the city and the teaching style. You might receive more attention at Imperial. whil at Cal, you have to be more self-motivated but that could be a good thing. Either way, you have to remember that you make your education experience. You can go to the best school even Harvard but if you goof off or dont do well, it will haunt you when it comes time for grad school or professional school. I think both institutions will provide you access to great resources in the sciences. Cal dominates Berkely and there isnt as much to do compared to London but is close to San Francisco. Imperial is a classic urban campus and I didnt know what it was until a friend pointed it out to me. Either way, you cant lose.

Imperial reminds me of Star Wars.
