To all,
I am a high school sophmore dazed and confused by the offerings of extracurricular activities at my school. The problem that is facing me is whether to choose clubs over sports or sports over clubs.
See, in my situation, if you play a sport (I play football and lacrosse), though the sport is fun, owns you for that season and one can't do anything else. Spurring guilt over not being to compete in a debate tournement and enrich the co-curricular aspects of my life. While if I drop sports and do extracurriculars like newspaper and debate, I feel the guilt of a loss of athleticism.
To make things worse, I realistically ride the bench in sports but have alot of fun. While I show amazing promise in clubs, while I'll have less fun.
Advice, thanks

My advice? Do what you enjoy doing. Your high school career will be over before you know it. Enjoy what you do and everything else will work out.
