Hey, guys! Has ANYONE out there visited Eckerd College in Florida? If so, PLEASE let me know what you think of this school. I would also love to chat with anyone who is/was a student there! I'm interested in their Environmental Studies program and was just wondering about the students there, the professors, college reputation, is it too much of a party school (I'll be living off-campus if I go there, so that might not make much of a difference since I won't be in the dorms), etc., etc. I really need some feedback as I can't go take a tour of the campus anytime soon. Thanks.

Indeed. Try doing some message searches, as well; I know we've had at least a few threads on here centered around Eckerd.

From what it's worth, Loren Pope is absolutely infatuated with the school.

Good suggestions! Also, if you decide to ask this again, put the name of the school in the title. You almost certainly have people clicking on your post who have never heard of the place, and people who might have heard of it passing it by because of the title.

I know I had a discussion about Eckerd versus U of Miami on one thread here on CC, so it's available somewhere. The other poster had some excellent observations, so it would be worth looking for.
