How does Georgetown rank among colleges (not US news)
prestige wise, grad school placement wise, etc
what are schools of similar stature?
how often do kids turn down Ivies to go?

prestige-wise georgetown ranks probably in the top 10 to 15 based on name-recognition. i know that a lot of kids turn down the top ivys to go to g'town for its great location and its prestigious school of foreign service. i dunno about grad school placement, but assume it must be good, and similar schools would probably be all the ivies except HYP and maybe UVa. i you can get in, i would highly recommend it.
