Cornell Hotel or U Wisc - Madison with a major in a communications? please help

Do you want to run hotels?? If so CU is the BEST place to learn that. If you want communications, UW is excellent.

Journalism is my #1 interest. I was considering Hotel because I could parlay it into a hospitality industry-writing type thing, for say, a travel and leisure? plus i might discover other interests along the way. cornell's also a tough thing to give up.

not only is cornell a tough thing to give up, but also an incredibly tough school. they grade incredibly hard. if you do choose cornell, make sure you are really into whatever you're majoring in.

Don't go just for the prestiege. Hotel management is a very focused area. If you arent into it-your experience will be unfulfilling. Madison is a great school with many opportunities. FYI-I'm going there over a top 15 rated univ.
