Hi im a college bound junior, and i was wondering if there are good public texas schools besides UT-Austin and Texas A&M. If so, tell me about them, because i dont really want to go to a school with 50,00 people at it.

I think texas schools arent really that great though, but maybe it's just because the grass is always greener on the otherside.

Still, i heard some people at school saying if they get good grades out out of state public schools they can get the additional out of state cost waived.... is that true? it sounds fishy
