American or George Washington?

ok I have been accepted to both but I am having a tough time deciding, I got into other schools but I want to be in D.C., I didnt even think about Georgetown until it was to late. I will be transfering in as a International relations major and a Criminal Justice major. HELP ME..PLEASE PLEASE~~~~~~~~~~Thanks.

George Washington is generally regarded to be a better school academically than American, and I agree with this assessment. I think you should go with GW...unless...

You probably know that GW is right in the middle of DC and doesn't really have a campus. American is a more suburban location and has a small but nice campus. International relations is just about the strongest major at both schools (don't know about CJ).

Generally, though, I'd say go with GW unless you really prefer American's suburban environment.

Of the two, GW would be the more desirable if you do not place importance on a traditional undergraduate college campus and atmopshere.

As a small child I used to walk through the AU campus on my way home. It was always a nice walk.
