Gah, here’s my dilemma. I'm a high school junior right now and I was accepted to CMU (SCS) early admission, but my first-choice is always going to be Stanford.
If I accept admission, will I still be able to apply regular or early decision to Stanford, or if not, will it be harder to transfer to Stanford from CMU than just staying in high school another year and applying next year? I'm not even quite sure how transfer admissions work; all I know is that it's got around 10% acceptance which... is a bit unnerving.

if you want to major in computer science,
mellon is better anyway... but if Stanford really
is your dream school, you probably have a slightly
better chance staying in high school and applying
there regular.
Good luck.
