Can anybody tell me what they think?

Both are great schools. Duke of course is more well known but tell us more, major, is money/location an issue.Duke students seem passionate about their school. Did you spend a night at both? I am convinced that is the only way to know. My son has felt lukewarm about a school after a whole day there and then stayed at a dorm and got to know the kids and lifestyle and ended up feeling like he fit. You have 2 great choices!

Duke has better rankings (overall). What's your major/career objective? Duke has a better reputation.

i want to study biology and then go into medical school. should i let Duke's prestige be a large factor in my decision?

I went to Emory and really enjoyed it. Even with that, if you have the choice between the two, unless there are some financial incentives to choose Emory, I'd choose Duke.
