which cal poly school (pomona or SLO) would be better for engineering? pros and cons?

SLO is a little higher ranked. The two Cal Poly schools are ranked 1-2 among the 23-campus state university system. The engineering colleges are almost identical with first rate programs and faculties. The real choice is whether you would rather live in San Luis Opisbo, which is really laid back and semi-rural, or Pomona, which has all of the networking and internships opportunities of Los Angeles just minutes away.
