wow did u really take the time to write all that?

I've never heard of anyone minoring in Electrical Engineering. I suggest you go to a university website and look at the courseload for engineering. There is a heavy core requirement, and you usually don't specialize until junior year.

Now, Finance/International Studies sounds doable. What area of the world interests you?

Look at Lehigh University. they have an integrated business and engineering honors program (IBE).

Hehe, no, I didn't write all of that. I just keep a word document updated throughout the years to facilitate my college apps.

I was thinking of specializing in China because I know the langage cuz my parents forced me to go to Chinese language school ever since I was 5.

And yeah, the engineering is kind of weird, but I said that I would do it because my dad wants me to. At UT Austin they have this business major that's Engineering route to business which is kind of a dual major, so if I decide to stay close to home, I'll probably do that.

I think the field that you want goes by many different names. It may also be hidden in different departments: business, engineering, or interdisciplinary studies, depending on the university. Look at what they call general engineering at U of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana

Does that sound like a fit for you?

RPI also has an engineering degree with a management emphasis. Good luck in your search.

Okay, here is my tentative list
Reaches:
Penn – Wharton (1st choice)
Berkeley (I might not get in b/c I’m out-of-state & Asian)
MIT (it apparently has a really good business school for a math/sci kind of school, but I won’t get in :)

Fits:
NYU (but maybe NYC is too scary for me – Does anyone know if the campus area is safe?)
I NEED ANOTHER FIT!

Safeties:
UT Austin
Babson (maybe too concentrated on business for me, but campus is beautiful!)
