Emory U vs WUStL vs Sewanee- which is best for food, campus, dorms, and has academics that fall into the not too easy, but not too tough category? Thank you for your help!

Wash U. edges Emory on selectivity and is reputed to have very good on-campus food. Greek life is much more active at Emory. So is my quick-and-dirty digest of PR's THE BEST 345 COLLEGES.

Never heard of Sewanee(sp.?) and it's not listed in my Barrons.

Sewanee is also known as University of the South. It's in Tennessee.My dad loves it, I'm growing on it.

Oh...U. of the South...yeah, it's supposed to be a decent school. Let's see what PR's 345 says: hmm...major Greek scene, lots of drinking, lousy food on campus...students don't like it...all this from the student comments. On paper, it's by far the weakest of the three in terms of academics, selectivity, etc. Wow...90 percent of students in fraternities/sororities.

Wash U. has the best food in the nation and beautiful campus/dorms! Very tough academics though.

If you are interested in Emory and Sewanee, consider the University of Virginia and Washington & Lee. Similar schools (UVa to Emory, W&L to Sewanee) but perhaps nicer/better.
