...for straight up business. It would be great if you could include any and all factors from academics to social life, to weather. Thanks

Uhhh... obviously MICHIGAN... one of the best business schools in the country. It is rated 3rd in the country for undergrad to be exact.
The way the business school is set up is that you take all of your core classes with the same people... it makes for good friends and forces teamwork. As for the classes... it is quite gruling; however, everyone is facing the same thing, so it doesn't matter. And plus, most everyone in b school gets a job offer before graduation, which is something to be looking foward for.
However, to get in, you have to take ACC 271 (a prereq), which is the hardest class in the face of the earth... but it weeds out the dumb people who want to apply when they get a C in the class. What makes the class hard is that everyone is competing for a spot in b school when they apply soph. year, so everyone is very competitive; oh yeah, and also the class is based on a perfect normal curve with a median grade of B-, which means that 50% in the class will get below a B- and 50% in the class will get above B-. The admission rate for the b school is about 50%, and the applicant pool is already self selecting (meaning, those who are stupid don't even bother to apply). The average person who gets in has about a college GPA of 3.6 (which is definately high for UM standards) and is president of some club (no joke). As for the rejects, they usually just choose econ as their major here, but the econ department is excellent.
The weather is not bad, at least if you live in the upper midwest or the east coast. The winter may be a shock for those who have 70 degree winter weather, but the snowy weather makes for great snowball fights and sleading. As for the atmosphere, Ann Arbor is a great town with lots of stuff to do. In terms of b school atmosphere, there are always famous CEOs and other famous people walking around the school or giving a presentation. So you make a lot of connections, and meet some famous people. Also, the b school is beautiful, if you love leather reclining chairs that the CEO of Visa or Madeline Albright sat in just last night, while staring at a some famous professor.
Since you apply at the end of your sophomore year, you really have a chance for a good social life (greek life is big at UM). After the first year of b school (junior year), you adjust to the b school life, and it is fun. Plus, you get to enjoy UM fooball, in the BIG HOUSE.
