Hey...can anybody who has been offered the Case Western 22,000 Trustee's Scholarship PLEASE post their stats and extracurricular's in high school? I want to know the caliber of students who get offered these scholarships. Thanks.

A friend of mine who got the scholarship is the valedictorian of a very competitive high school, and has a 1500 SAT. She's involved in various clubs, mostly academic.

It's not just about your SAT score, regardless of what people think.

stats...okay.

keep in mind that i live 45 minutes away from Case, i've spoken to several admissions officers, i've visited their campus more times than i've been to McDonalds in the past yaer (), and CWRU is very familiar with my school. but, no, you dont need to do ANY of that to be awarded the Trustee's Scholarship.

i think thats about it...

none of that is really that "special" or "unique"...it's basically something anyone can do. i know i got an awesome rec, so i think that will help a lot. just show a high energy level and a love for life & learning and everything else should happen on its own. my essay wasnt really anything spectacular (i sent my app in on the last possible day )

i dont know how many Trustee's Scholarships they give, but i know a LOT of people who got the Presidential Scholarship.
