I've so far been accepted at UW- Madison, and Indiana-Bloomington. I know these are both v big party schools, and I'd really like to join a sorority and experience the whole greek life, living on fraternity row etc etc, as we just don't get that sort of community togetherness in England. But how easy is it to get into a sorority of your choice, or a sorority in general?

There's a message board dedicated to fraternities and sororities. Since I don't think links are allowed here, try doing a Google search for "Greek Chat". I believe there are some regular posters there from both of those schools who can give you specific information.

It is not too hard to get into a good sorority if you want that. Being from England would be a huge plus. Both schools have the real greek row and at UW some are old mansions right on the lake.

All sororities have their rush week (early first semester for many colleges, second semester for others) which is the week they recruit and you can visit any of them and apply for admission. For the most part, if you bathe regularly and don't drool, you have a high probability of getting in.
