Christine, given your interests, there are three options for you to consider. A business degree with an emphasis in marketing, a communications degree with an emphasis in advertising, and a Film and TV degree with an emphasis in advertising. UCLA, USC, and Chapman University are three schools (with all three programs - I think) in Southern California. You may have a good chance of being accepted at the first two, and the third one is an easy in for you.

Also look at Pepperdine, University of San Diego, the University of Redlands, and Santa Clara University for excellent business programs.
UCLA and UCB would also be good possibilities for you.
