What are these schools known for, and which are the most prestigous?
Duke University, Boston University, University Southern California

Duke
USC
Boston U
Duke has an excellent biomedical engineering dept. Great basketball team too. I dont know much details about the other colleges, other than USC has a good liberal arts dept from what in can figure

Well actually, it depends on what you want to major in. For communications or med school, BU is definitely one of the better colleges. The only thing that brings BU down is there General Studies program which is basically a two year college where the students then get transfered into CAS or another school. What are you interested in doing?

USC's Annenberg School of Communication is one of the best in the country. USC has, arguably, the best film school in the country (those from NYU and UCLA might differ.) Its Marshall School of Business is very strong. It has made a major committment to upgrading its engineering school. Its Thorton School of Music is among the best and it has a good School of Theatre
