Here's an easy answer: make a decision after you find out which ones accepted you. It's pointless to ponder which one to attend until you know where you actually can go in the first place.

IB Diploma 48/48?? Is it some special program or what? Coz maximum number of points on full IB Diploma is 45...

If you get in to all of them (odds aren't good) then CalTech if you are a science major is the best pick. CalTech and MIT are head and shoulders above the Ivies for hard science. For pre med the ivies would be better and for anything non science CalTech would not make my list.

Mike's Dad - Beyond sciences, I'd also say CalTech and MIT would be best for mathematics.

Thank you so much for ur help and Saccharine it's the full IB Diploma in which I've earnt after finishing 6 GCSE subjects. Maybe the Grades vary from school to another or country.
I've heard that students from MIT and CalTech do best at top medical schools, besides, I've heard that the undergraduate education at Harvard is not competitive at all.
