Shelinda
I want to study political science...so I was wondering if Oxford has a good program in that. Also, how did you get a conditional offer? How does that work?

OK...Oxford does have a really good politics program, but i think you can only do it as a joint subject with something else...
Modern History and Politics
PPE (Philosophy, Politics, Economics)
I think those are the only two politics courses.
Ok, I am British, and out uni system is really different to the American one. Basically, we are given uni offers of specific grades (e.g. AAA), which we have to achieve in our final high school exams (A-levels, or whatever). We have to get these specific grades (or higher) to get into that particular uni.
Another thing...it is too late to apply for entry in 2003, the interviews were in December. You have to apply by 15 October (I think) the year before you want to enter the university.
For more info look at www.unofficial-guides.com
It has student guides to nearly all British unis.
Hope that helps!
