I've been looking for colleges I'd be interested in for a Physics or Astronomy major. I was wondering if anyone could help me by giving me a list of the Top Ten (most prestigious?) science schools.

That is a brooooaaaaaddddd category, bro. I mean you've got your basic HYPSMC... but what particularly are you looking for?
I can tell you that I'm probably going for a physics or astrophysics major, and had that in mind while researching schools... and my list is as follows:
Oxford (Accepted), Princeton (Deferred ED), Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Cornell, UChicago, Williams, Amherst, Swarthmore, Carleton, Haverford, Vassar, Kenyon, Univ. of Maryland - College Park

Hi Voigtrob,
To what college at Oxford have you been accepted for a Physics major? My friend got into Mansfield College for Physics and is decided to enroll; he's really crazy about Oxford.

Lincoln. ;)
I'm probably not going to go... first off because it's sooo expensive and without finaid for internationals, and second because its so specific... I would do physics and only physics for four years (through masters degree).

The University of Arizona also is good for astrophysics, as is UC Santa Cruz. Other possibilities besides those already mentioned:
Whitman College, Williams, U of Wisconsin, Northwestern, USC, U of Washington and Boston U.
And, of course, if you have the grades Calif. Institute of Technology and MIT are terrific as well.

I will list 10 best physics programs(both undergrad and grad) in the US. This is purely my own opinion. I'm a physics major, too.
Harvard
MIT
Princeton
Cornell
Stanford
Caltech
Columbia
Berkeley
U of Chicago
U of Illinois
Hope this helps
