I am a current student at the university of cincinnati. I was just wandering if I have made the best choice. I am looking for a school closer to home, namely Ohio State University. One of the main reasons I came to Cincinnati was because of the co-op program, but I realize that OSU has one as well. If anyone can offer any insight into OSU it would be much appreciated. Like where it is ranked and how well its engineering school is respected (more so than UC?).

Daughter has been accepted there for next year, she's going into in mech. eng. She visited the eng. dept, and really liked the "hands on" freshman engineering sequence. OSU's engineering program is rated significantly higher in USNWR than UC, for whatever stock you put in rankings. Daughter looked at UC, but the campus did not look like a good place to live--and it appeared to be more of a commuter school.
