Tempe, Chapel Hill, Ann Arbor, College Park (Maryland). Are these places fun to live at? Thanks in advance.

ive heard good things about all of them. i lived in ann arbor for about 13 years and i can tell ya that i absolutely loved it. now granted i was much younger then but if you dont mind the cold and like having lots to do, ann arbor is an excellent place.

Chapel Hill is supposedly a very intellectual area. It forms the research triangle with Duke (Durham) and NC State (Raleigh), I think. I've heard it's a great college town. I saw Raleigh recently on a "best cities to live in" list recently. It's supposed to be a booming city, and only 25 mins away from Chapel Hill.

Ann Arbor is perhaps a little less exciting if you're the hardcore city type (meaning it lacks the hustle and bustle of a city) but it doesn't come short when it comes to things to do. I hear there's always a ton of activities and events on campus, in the town, etc. etc. Detroit, although not a very attractive city (but good for concerts, etc.) is just 45 mins or so away.

College Park... well... the least attractive of the three, for sure. Not very exciting, but being a large state U, there's got to be something! Even though I know no one who went to Michigan or Chapel Hill, and my cousin went to UMD, I really have no idea about College Park haha.

The area of Tempe around ASU is a good college town - tons of bars, clubs, resturaunts, etc.

Ooo, sounds good. So I take it all these places are fun to live at. How would you rank them?
