Try these: Barry University in Florida, University of Bridgeport in CT. and Marquette University in Wisc. All have graphic design majors or at least concentrations within their art department and while they are not inexpensive they do offer at least some financial aid to internationals. Some other possibilities (not sure if they have a graphic design concentration or not so you will have to check): Arizona State University, Eastern Michigan University, University of Houston.

I'm so glad you asked! My brother went to the Graphic Design school in the University of Cincinnati -- it's called DAAP (Design, Architecture, Art and Planning). The university is so-so, but the graphic design school is absolutely spectacular. The uni is inexpensive, and DAAP is widely known (in the design world, that is) as being one of the few "hidden gems" of graphic design in America.

In case you want to know, my brother later worked at Pentagram and is now doing a Master's at one of the best graphic design graduate schools in the country -- NC State.

Write if you want more info.
