Florida has a new “18 credit” graduation program: this basically means senior year is not required (I would graduate as a junior). I am very interested in that program, and I have more credits than necessary (I’ll have 21 – 23; normal four year graduation requires 24) and I was wondering if doing this program would in any way damage my chances of admission to college. I am NOT interested in the Ivy League's or even top 25 schools; almost all of the schools I'd like to attend are in the top 55, though.

I’ll have 5-6 AP courses total, many honors courses, and 4 credits ('years') of English, 5 credits of science, 5 credits of social studies, 0.5 credit fine art/0.5 credit practical art, 3-4 credits of math, and 2-3 credits of Spanish.

Given that I will graduate as a junior and will have taken the above courses, do you think doing this program will harm me in any way?

If I do the early graduation program I will most likely graduate with the following courses:

+Sciences+
Honors Biology
Honors Chemistry
Honors Marine Science
AP Biology
AP Chemistry -or- AP Environmental Science

+Social Studies+
Honors History
Honors Law Studies
AP Human Geography
AP American History
Honors Economics/Government

+English+
Honors English I
Honors English II
AP English Language
AP English Literature

+Math+
Honors Algebra I
Honors Geometry
Honors Algebra II
Pre Calculus (maybe honors, maybe not even the class at all)

+Foreign Languages+
Spanish I
Spanish II
I don’t think I need a 3rd year of Spanish but will take it if necessary.

+Other+
Team Sports/Personal Fitness (required)
Health/Life Management/Computers (required)
Drawing (required; 0.5 credit)

I really don't know the answer to your question, but out of curiousity, how are you managing to fit 4 english courses into 3 years?

I'm doing early graduation, first semester of this year I'm a junior, second semester, I'm a senior, so total of 3 years in high school. I got into Stanford EA, and my teachers say I shouldn't have problems getting into the other schools I applied to. I think you'd be fine, go ahead and talk precalc though.
