How is the music at Middlebury? I know their classics program is top notch but I didn't include it on the list because of the OP's desire for music. Any insights Collegeparent?

A former classics prof from Yale, Wesleyan, and Brown, who is now the head of the dept. at UC-Boulder, told me (also a prospective classics major) that Brown has the best classics program of any college/university in the country. This was seconded by my own Latin teacher who is also an N.Y.U adjunct prof.
