I'm pretty familiar with USD - They don't have a big Greek scene on campus. There are a few sororities and fraternities but no Greek houses.
On the weekends, the campus is fairly quiet during the day with parties in dorms and nearby apartments at night. Seems like many people also head into downtown San Diego at night. It isn't really a party school.

I would if I could. The reason I know so much is my daughter goes to the University of San Diego High School across the street which sends many, many kids to USD. I also know several faculty members. It's a great, underrated school and, in my mind, has one of the prettiest campuses around. My daughter says she wants a college that looks just like USD but isn't across the street from her high school. If only we could plunk it down somewhere in Northern Calif. she'd be set for college choices.

I've heard from first-hand reports that the University of the Pacific has a beautiful campus. And, Santa Clara and Loyola Marymount both have sort of the feel of USD. But USD is still a bit nicer --- it just feels like an old, tuscan town - even though the school is about 50 or so years old.
