I want to major in biology or chemistry and then go to Vet School. Would Bates be a good choice for this or is it too difficult to get the GPA needed for Vet School? What's the campus life like?

Hi LnRI, if you don't receive any feedback regarding Bates here on CollegeConfidential, post your question on the PR Parents Board. One of the regular PR posters is a Bates parent; she's provided very detailed info whenever anyone asks. (covering absolutely everything from campus life to town/gown relationship to academics to finaid and more). BTW, this particular parent is quite knowledgeable about a number of NE colleges. (You might also pull up Bates on the PR archives).
