i didnt do any research and applied to the Stern School of business of NYU.
i heard that the other colleges may be less competitive, like the Gallatin school, CAS, or Ehrenkranz or the school of Education.
i have a comparitively low GPA and would like to be accepted to any school, and then work to transfer.
what would be the best way out of this?
which school is the least competitive, in terms of applicants and acceptance rates?
can i send NYU a letter requesting a change in my application?
please help

Stern and Tisch are the hardest schools to get into at NYU, but you can't transfer from the college at NYU to Stern once you're there so you might as well have given the B-School a shot.

thanks stern05, but i was worried because, i dont neccesarily have to go to stern for undergrad, i was planning on applying to stern for a MBA so it doesnt really matter if i to CAS or Steinhardt right?
but i just have no idea how to ask the admissions office to tranfer my application to CAS from stern without making it too obivous im trying to get in the back door (which i guess i am trying to do).
and they were very specific about only applying to one school within NYU.
do you know how i should ask them?
