Does anyone know of any good school that has an acting major? Some lesser known schools perhaps, like besides NYU.

If you are thinking of a couple of good acting schools I only know what I have heard. Florida State I've heard is good, Univ. of Michigan, Carnegie Mellon (but I think this is on the expensive side), St. Edward's Univ., and among the top 10 is Univ. of Washington. Oh and I also heard of North Carolina School for the Arts.

I currently attend Augusta State Univ.; I would suggest not attending this school. Unless you are going in as a freshman, but if you are transferring this school will mess your credits and grades up. So transfer students BEWARE!
