Is it normal to have two interviews for Early Action? I applied to Yale EA and had an on-campus and off-campus interview? I am starting to panick since I thought that maybe I had screwed up on my on-campus interview and they needed to re-evalute me?
PS
I know it is too late..but I'm just afraid now that Judgement Day is SLOWLY appraoching.

I think it is fine,Xdtish. I had both interviews, too, and they were both completely optional (though encouraged). They usually automatically offer you an alumni interview, even if you already had one on-campus. I had my alumni interview first, and then my on-campus, but I don't think it really matters.
Just chill, whatever happens will happen, and I'm sure you did fine at both interviews. If they learned something else about you in your second interview, it might even be beneficial for you that you went! Well, I wish you the best of luck. In the meantime, I'm trying to work on my other apps and look at how wonderful the other places I'm applying to are. That way I won't be too crushed when/if (still have SOME optimism) I don't get in to Yale. In fact, I haven't really even thought about the fact that I'll get Yale's decision in a week and a half until now.

Ditto everything ch2 said.....
My daughter also had both the on campus interview as well as the alum interview for Yale. In fact, this is the same case at another college on her list; both interviews for that college are taking place this week. The second of the two interviews is not a reflection on how you did in the first interview. You are simply offered both opportunities...every applicant is.
I also want to say that Ch2 has a healthy attitude about this process. My daughter feels quite the same. While Yale is a first choice, it is not the end all and be all. She knows she could be happy at all the schools on her list. She knows full well the difficult odds at Yale and that there simply are too many excellent applicants for the slots available. You can have what it takes and still not get in. I am worried about the kids here who feel the MUST get into the EA school. Hopefully you have found several schools you like. When the odds at elite colleges are the way they are, you unfortunately cannot count on getting in despite how qualified you are. That is just how it is. It is far better to like a few schools, including your safeties. By this time next year, you will be happy going some place on your list and this will be behind you. Make sure you put your all into every application you do. This is simply realistic. Do not take a deferral as a personal affront to your qualities. It is truly a crapshoot at schools of this calibur.
Good luck everyone.

I didn't even have one interview.
Then again, I live in the middle of bayou country and there probably isn't a Yale alumni within 400 miles.
:P
