ok so i went and visited the school i really want to go to this past summer and after the interview i got a hand written thank you note, then the same interviewer ended up coming to my school a few months later and i was the only student that went to the presentation. A few weeks later i got another hand written postcard telling me how nice it was to see me. Recently someone from the school called and asked if i had any questions about the application or applying? So....do you think they do this with everyone who apply or is it special? ahahhahaha..sorry this is ridiculous i just really like the school hahahah!

Sounds to me like you found yourself a nice admission officer. She appreciated your interview and your attendance at her presentation. To show that appreciation, she sent you the nice notes and wants to help you along the admissions process (hence the call). Whether this will affect your chances I do not know.

I think it will help, how much will depend on what school it is and other factors. But you have shown to this admissions officer your very interested in the school. Chances are she will probably remember your name when it comes time to read your application and will start out with good thoughts about you. It won't hurt you and will probably help at least a little.
