i'm a junior and am trying to make a list of colleges that would be a good match for me. I have about a 95 average, art club, i'm co-president of key club, recieved a few scholastic art awards. i'm interested in bigger schools in nprtheast, but i'll consider others. I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

Are you planning on majoring in art? Or something else. Will financial aid be an issue?

i'm not sure about my major but i know i don't want to major in art. Financial aid is important

Without SAT scores, it's hard to make recommendations but the standard "large schools in the Northeast" are Boston U, NYU, Syracuse U,
George Washington, American U, Cornell, University of Pennsylvania, Northeastern, Penn State, UMass, etc. Might not be a bad idea to read through their descriptions in a college guidebook (most libraries have them) and see if any interest you. Once you have SAT scores (or PSAT) scores in hand, you'll be able to see where you stand a bit better.

the only scores i have are SAT II chem: 720
took psat last year w/o any prep: 64V 59M 55W
hopefully these will improve, i should be getting results for the psat soon
one thing i was thinking about is that i don't know if i should take the ACT or the SAT. i took some kind of diagnostic test and found out i did better on the ACT verbal and SAT math, so that didn't really help. but i have to decide pretty soon, last year i got slammed w/ late fees for the SAT II

i'm a little dissappointed that i didn't really improve on the math and verbal on the psat i took in oct. (66 V 59M) but i went up to a 72 in writing! so i guess that's good
