albany
binghamton
loyola (md)
penn state
u del
syracuse
quinnipiac
but im looking for maybe one or two more colleges that would offer some kind of merit scholarship AND maybe offer my potential major..... actuarial science. finding schools with my major has definitely been a toughie in this whole search process so i was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of colleges in the northeast that would be a good fit...i dont like boston and i want a fun environment with good academics... if anyone could help me that would be awesome!

Why are you applying to so many safety schools?

I don't know if you are applying to those schools because those are the only schools with your major or those are the only schools you think you are likely to get into. You should definitely get some reaches in there, because I think you're in at practically all those schools (and probably with money too). Your SAT and grades are excellent, and deserve some higher level schools.

Take a look at St. John's University in Queens, NY. They have a well-respected school of insurance with an acturial science program. I suspect its location in NY would open opportunities for internships at major insurance companies as well.
NYU and Bryant College in Rhode Island should also be on your list of schools to consider for acturial science. The University of Conn. also has a program. BU does as well but you say you don't like Boston.
You can find an extensive list of acturial science undergraduate degree programs at the Society of Acturaries -

Good luck.
