Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!
I definitely know I want to pursue a career in the medical field. However, I am afraid my scores and other statistics arent as stellar as I'd like it to be.
My SAT score is around 1250, 650 for verbal and 600 for math.
My SAT II scores are as follows: 690 for chemistry, 650 for writing, and 620 for math Ic.
My unweighted average is 92.8, my weighted is 96.0.
I have very little EC's and just a few mediocre recommendations.
Is there any decent college within my league I can apply to that offers a good pre-med or bs/md program? I'd like to stay on the east coast, preferably around the new york state area.
PLEASE HELP ME!

Look at Loren Pope's book, "Colleges that Change Lives". It is a small paper back that lists small, nurturing school, many of them are great for premeds.
My daughter went to such a school and is now in medical school. She was not a great student in highschool and not stellar in college but her school was fantastic in supporting her in her goal. I doubt seriously if she would have gotten into a medical school, had she gone to a premed factory or any "tough" school. "Tough" was not what she needed. She needed help and mentoring and when she got it she thrived. Also many school offer a "premed" major. Those small schools tend to offer group counseling and work as they do what they can to get their premeds into med school. This is a quiet process totally different from the upfront premed mission, but it seems to be working. I know several kids in med school who took this tack.
