Hello, all. I am a high school senior ISO an incredible English department on the East coast/Midwest. I love literature with a passion, especially poetry, especially modernist poetry. I am also v. interested in linguistics and philosophy (and philosophy about language). My verbal SATs were perfect but my grades are only so-so (3.67 to be exact). Creative writing is not so much my cuppa. I've been looking mainly at tiny, communist-leaning liberal arts schools, but my love for rocket scientists precludes me from applying to Oberlin and Kenyon exclusively. Does anyone know of a college that would suit me?
