I'm looking for schools in the northeast that are in a big city or right outside one. I'm applying ED Columbia. If I get deferred to regular admissions, I'm trying to come up with a list of schools to apply. My reaches will be UPenn, Brown, and Georgetown. I'm trying to think of a good list of matches and safety schools. So far I've come up with Tufts as a match and Boston University as a safety school. I'm also applying to NYU (not sure exactly where that fits). I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for good matches/safties for me. Thanks in advance for any information.

Hum... was going to suggest Tufts, my alma mater, until you had it as a match.
As ThePlayMaker suggested, BC is another good one.
Some more:
*Brandeis (in Waltham, MA) - match/safety
*Wellesley if you are a woman (match)
*Brooklyn (safety)
*Lehigh (match/safety)
*Temple
*Villanova
*Rutgers
*American
*James Madison
*Fordham
*CMU
*UVA
*if you are okay with going to college in a college town, try the Amherst/Northampton area of MA... five colleges (Amherst, UMass, Smith, Mt. Holyoke, and maybe Hampshire) are all there.
As usual, my lists are skewed towards Massachusetts and colleges which also have law schools. Sigh.

I'm planning on majoring in Political Science and eventually going to law school, but of course nothing is for sure.
