Can anyone give some input on what your ideas are on the best undergraduate CA State School for a Business Major. Concentration is Finance or Marketing would be nice but not needed. Which CA State schools have good recruiting programs for investment banks. Any other recomendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

to limit it down... what part of california do you want to be in? and what school type (i.e. size, etc)?

Any part of California and really any size. I think I can get into every CSU besides Cal Poly SLO...just wondering what the business programs, investment banking recruiting are like in the CSU system.

csu san diego, csu fullerton, sf state, san jose state... those are the best ones i can think of right now. what are ur stats?

I am pretty sure i can get into most CSU's and I think i want to go to San Diego and Chico the most.
White Male
GPA - 3.54
SAT - 1120 composite
Took fairly hard classes...and have some community service and varsity volleyball for 2 years.
Interested mostly in Finance or Marketing. I want to land a good Investment Banking job at a smaller firm. Then get my MBA at a more prestigious school e.i. - Columbia or NYU.

Any suggestions appreciated!! Thanks.

San Diego State has an excellent business program. Keep in mind, however, that it is an impacted program which means it can be very difficult to get classes once you're in.

if i remember right... cal state fullerton has a wonderful business program. in fact i know people who chose it over uci because of the quality of the business program.
