Hello! I'm a new member. I find this forum very good because you can get a lot of information on higher education.
I'm a student of the University of Nottingham U.K.
Do you know if my university is good? Do you know of any sites were i can find rankings of universities world wide/europian? Overall rankigns or rankings by subject? Any official rankings?
I've read a past conversation on this matter from your site , but i would like some more
information.
Any information or advice will be very helpfull!

Thank's.

I'm looking for something else than the good university guide or Gardians rankings. I'm looking for something offisial or a worldwide ranking.

Re: Rankings of Universities outside the UK

Try checking these sites:

http://www.library.uiuc.edu/edx/rankings.htm
maintained by the Education and Social Science Library, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, includes many links to various undergraduate, graduate, business, law, and international college and university rankings. The section on "caution and controversy" and the bibliography are helpful in understanding the problems associated with compiling and using educational rankings

All the best.
