7 years in the school orchestra
2 years in the state orchestra (melbourne string ensemble)
various award at various competitions, with the main one being the prize at the westpac math competition.

my grades are straight A/A+ (we dont do GPAs or things like that)
my rank is 3/115
I havent really thoguht about prospective major, but i like psychology or chemistry

Wesleyan and Middlebury would be good matches.
Williams would be a good reach.
Maybe Oberlin would be a good safety?

Ivys, Stamford, Georgetown, Amherst would be realistic reaches, Tufts, Vassar and Johns Hopkins would be good matches leaning to reaches, Safties: Brandeis, Boston College, UCLA, any state school, Rice: Go to Princeton Review's web site and do the Couselor o matic survey, it will provide you with a great list of reach, good match, and safety schools.

use counselor-o-matic with caution though. for me, it returned safety schools of NYU, Berkeley & Carnegie Mellon. when you plug in numbers, try dropping SAT scores by 100 or something so the results come out a little more realistic, because counselor-o-matic is just a *tad* too optimistic...
