I have three colleges that I am applying to but I want to get about 3 more. I want to major in either Zoology, wildlife management or pre-vet. The three I have right now are: Connecticut College, Salve Regina & SUNY Owega. I also want a college which has a mens ice hockey & lacrosse teams. Any suggestions?

ah you already said conn coll, which is what I was going to suggest. They have a huge natural arbotreium (ahh whatever the spelling is) around the campus and it's beautiful. I hear the enviro program is great. Oh! And also, this guy told me that they've seen wild boars and other random animals so I'm sure their zoology major is unique.

You better check on Conn College - their web site says they've done away with their zoology degree. However, they do have an excellent bio program so you'll be set unless you have your heart absolutely set on it saying zoology on your diploma.

Rugg's lists the following schools as having good programs in zoology:
Cornell, University of CT, Indiana U, U Maryland College Park, Colorado State.
Wildlife management: Auburn, Brevard (NC), Frostburg State (MD), Purdue, Virginia Polu Tech, Unity(ME).

A very good school with strong science programs is also Juniata in PA -they are good at med and vet school placements as well.
Good luck!
