I have a D at Trin. She has had three exceptional yrs at Trinity, pol and econ very strong. Trinity's location is either a plus or a negative, depending upon perspective. It is in the center of Hartford, not a good neighborhood. This is great if you are interested in urban issues, and are willing to engage with government/agencies that address such issues.
Daughter chose trin over Conn because of (1) faculty (2) campus feel (3) crew.

I keep hearing good things about both schools. Be sure to check out the discussions in the Individual Schools Forum.

Thank you. I play soccer. I am thinking about doing crew too though. I am also somewhat interested in politics in urban areas. On the other hand, I don't want to be mugged either. haha.
