I want to study architecture and I'm thinking about attending Texas A & M because it's only a few hours from where I live and they have a good program, from what I've heard. Any other school suggestions for this type of study?
Oh, and A & M has a grad program for Visualization Studies, which is basically computer animation and it follows the arch bachelor. If you know of any other schools that offer similar graduate studies, please tell! Thanks

Cooper Union is top notch... think it's ranked as #1 or 2 for architecture.

I am thinking about architecture, too! (my best friend laughed her head off when I first told her, she pictured me in a yellow plastic hat.)
Of course, I have done a lot, A LOT, of research in the past few weeks. Top schools are basically ivy-leagues like yale and harvard. I'm from california, so there's usc, ucla, and uc berkeley.
But there are a lot of schools that are NACC accredited.(or is it NAAC?) It issues licenses to architects, w/o it, they cann't practice.
Also, use message search on this website(yes, this) and you'll be surprised how many ppl wanted to be architects.
so long

Since you sound like you'd like to stay close to Texas, I'd recommend checking out Rice, Texas Tech, U Texas Austin, U Texas Arlington, University of Houston, as well as Texas A&M - all have architecture degree programs. Close by - Tulane.
