Which would get me a farther in my career?...A degree from Columbia SEAS or Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute?..Ive heard that a degree from RPI goes well with big companies..

Not to mention RPI is much, much easier to get into. I'd also imagine that they wouldn't require as many liberal art type core requirements as a school like Columbia probably would.

Also look where RPI is located... Troy sucks! I mean it's not too bad I guess since albany is nearby. Other than that I don't know much more about RPI (I have a few friends going there).

i really dont care much about the town...all the schools im applying to are in crappy areas..
